Géza Köteles | Opera Répétiteur, Conducting Répétiteur
He graduated from Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music as a conductor in 2001 and as a composer in 2003. He studied with Ervin Lukács, Tamás Gál and János Vajda. Since 2003, he has been a conductor of the Symphony Orchestra of the Budapest Technical University, and has conducted his orchestra in concerts in Budapest as well as France, Italy and Transylvania. He has worked as a guest conductor with the Hungarian Telecom Symphony Orchestra, the MÁV Symphony Orchestra, the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra, the Szabolcs Symphony Orchestra and the Oradea Symphony Orchestra. He has been a répétiteur in the Opera House since 2001; his debut as a conductor was the performance of János vitéz in the Erkel Theatre in November 2005, and since then he has conducted Die Zauberflöte, Stravinsky's one-act operas and The King's New Clothes.
