HOW TO APPLY
Step One: Download/print out the application form linked in
below and fill it out completely
Step Two: Collect your supplemental materials
Step Three: Remit your information together with the application
fee (please remember to attach receipt)
Step Four: If accepted within one week, be prepared to reserve
your position with a down payment. |

To apply for admission to the Summer
International, you will need to download and complete the
Application Form
and submit it in one of the ways described below for your
convenience:

- Photos
- Headshot
- First arabesque in center (En Pointe for women)
- Optional: you may include up to two additional photos in ballet poses
PLEASE NOTE: Photos should not exceed 7x5 inches / 18x13 cm. Photos will not be returned.

- Video OR recommendations
- EITHER a recent video showing the applicant in three different segments:
- Segment 1: Short Barre exercises of tendues, adagio and grand battement
- Segment 2: Short Center exercises of adagio, allegro and pointe for women or tour en l'air for men
- Segment 3: A classical or contemporary variation
PLEASE NOTE: The video should be a current representation within a year’s time. The duration of the video should not exceed 15 minutes. Please make sure that the applicant is easily identifiable. DVDs will not be returned.
- OR at least 2 letters of recommendation if you are unable to provide a video
- One recommendation from a current teacher
- An additional recommendation from another current or previous teacher
PLEASE NOTE: Recommendations should be signed by the teacher and state the period of time when the applicant studied with the teacher.
Every application method above must be accompanied by the application fee. Without the application fee, your form cannot be processed.

Occupancy
The above prices are based upon double
occupancy.
For a single room, please add an additional 500 EUR
for any three-week package (A-D), or 200 EUR
for the first week package (E).
Balance
Please be prepared to remit 1.000 EUR within 10 days from
acceptance to HNBCSI (non-refundable) and your full balance
within 30 days of acceptance (non-refundable).

Financial Aid and Scholarships
The Hungarian National Ballet Company
Summer International will offer merit scholarships and financial aid
for the 2010 Summer International. To apply for scholarships,
you must first apply to and be accepted into the HNBCSI program.
You will then be sent the requisite forms if you indicate that
you wish to apply for a scholarship. You will be notified of
your scholarship award within one week from receipt.
