National Tour - La bohéme
Some operas are legendary. One of them is Puccini's work telling the story of young Parisian bohemians: one of the most beautiful romances in the opera literature, it starts with an extinguished candle and a lost key.
Kálmán Nádasdy's legendary production has been on the opera's programme since 1937, with nearly 900 performances so far. In the 2018/19 season, as part of the Opera from the Opera! series, audiences in cities around Hungary and in the neighbouring countries will get to hear a concert version of Puccini's work featuring the Opera's soloists, along with the Hungarian State Opera Chorus, Children's Chorus and Orchestra.
