National Tour - Classical and modern

Classical pas de deux and solos, and three pieces by Hans van Manen

The Hungarian National Ballet is taking outstanding pieces from its classical and modern repertoires outside Budapest to different venues around Hungary during its nationwide tour. Alongside Hans van Manen's three modern pieces – the sensitive pas de deux from Trois Gnossiennes, the irresistible witty Black Cake and the fierily energetic 5 Tangos, dance enthusiasts will get to see each of four great classical ballets – Swan Lake, Don Quixote, Spartacus and Le Corsaire – condensed into a single highlight of a grand pas de deux or pas de trois.

The complete programme:

1. Trois Gnossiennes
2. Swan Lake, pas de deux from Act 2
3. Don Quixote, pas de deux from Act 3
4. 5 Tangos
5. Spartacus, pas de deux from Act 3
6. Le Corsaire, pas de trois from Act 2
7. Black Cake
