Triple Dance

Modern ballet evening

Johan Inger's highly acclaimed choreography Walking Mad, set to Ravel's Bolero, has been part of the Hungarian National Ballet's repertoire since 2015. Now it will be presented together on the same evenings with the Hungarian premieres of two other works: Bedroom Folk, a streamlined piece boasting a unique visual world and a remarkable musical atmosphere by Sharon Eyal and Gai Behar, the creative pair behind Israel's L-E-V Company, was first debuted in 2015, at the Netherlands Dance Theatre; the unusually titled work by American-born and Germany-based choreographer William Forsythe, on the other hand, is a tribute to classical technique set to the virtuosic and sublime final movement of Schubert's "Great" Ninth Symphony.
