András Decsi was still a child when he dedicated himself to music. He first attended the Zoltán Kodály Primary School of Voice and Music (2004-2007), before moving on to the solo voice department of the Béla Bartók High School of Music (2007-2010). Between 2010 and 2014, he studied at the University of Szeged's Faculty of Music to earn his bachelor's in solo voice under Mária Temesi and István Andrejcsik. He was 21 years old when he sang the role of Dani in King Pomádé's New Clothes at the Petőfi Theatre. He also sang the same role at the National Theatre of Szeged, where he also took the stage as Goro in Madama Butterfly. He has also sung Count Almaviva in Il barbiere di Siviglia at the Vörösmarty Theatre in Székesfehérvár. In the 2013/14 season, he sang the role of Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni at the National Theatre of Miskolc.
