After studying at the Szeged High School of Dance from 1988 until 1992, Gábor Horváth joined the National Theatre of Szeged as a dancer. Over the course of his career, he has created choreographies for operas, operettas, musicals and spoken-word performances. He has worked at such venues as the Hungarian State Opera House, the National Theatre of Szeged, the Szeged Open-Air Festival, Székesfehérvár's Vörösmarty Theatre and the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music.
Comprising his most important choreographies are those for Le Grand Macabre, Peter Grimes, L'elisir d'amore, Resurrection, Blood Wedding, Die Zirkusprinzessin and King Pomade's New Clothes.
