Klaudia Orosz studied in the set and costume design department of the Sofia Academy of Fine Arts between 1973 and 1978. She worked as a drawing teacher, and later as a scenic artist designing puppets at the Hungarian State Puppet Theatre, as well as Pécs's Bóbita Puppet Theatre, Kecskemét's Ciróka Puppet Theatre and Eger's Harlekin Puppet Theatre. Since 1992 she has been a designer for the Kolibri Theatre, but has also appeared as a guest at numerous other theatres, including the Budapest Puppet Theatre, the Independent Stage, the Szentendre Theatre, the Budapest Chamber Opera, Veszprém's Petőfi Sándor Theatre, Eger's Gárdonyi Géza Theatre, Győr's City Puppet Theatre, the Puck Puppet Theatre in Kolozsvár (Cluj-Napoca), Kaposvár's Csíky Gergely Theatre and the Pest Theatre. She has had several solo showings in Budapest, Eger, Kaposfüred, Pécs, Gyöngyös and Sofia. He received the Újvidék (Novi Sad) Triennial's award in 1998 and the Mari Jászai Award in 1999.
