Dömötör Pintér graduated from Eötvös Loránd University's Faculty of Science with qualifications in applied mathematics and specialised English translation. He first studied trombone and solfège at the Szombathely High School of the Arts, and he later continued his musical education with private voice studies. In 2006, he became a professional singer, joining the Hungarian Radio Choir, and later on, the Hungarian Army Male Choir. Since 2011, he has been a bass with the Hungarian National Choir. He made his debut as a solo opera singer in 2010, in the roles of Vencellin and the Crier in Ferenc Erkel's opera István király (King Stephen). Since then, audiences have had the chance to see him in every kind of role, in both operas and oratorios, in styles ranging from the Renaissance to contemporary music. He has sung both principal and secondary roles at Müpa Budapest, the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music, the László Papp Budapest Sports Arena and the Erkel Theatre, to mention a few venues.
