Exhibition in memory of the Opera House victims of the Holocaust
"Shattered, abandoned, dead..." is the title of the new permanent exhibition of the Hungarian State Opera opened in the basement of the building. It commemorates 83 artists and employees who were dismissed and deported due to their descent during the Holocaust. The exhibition is open to visitors at 4 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday from 14 January 2023.
Please note that guided tours are currently offered in Hungarian only.
A 45-minute exhibition tour starts every Saturday and Sunday at 4 p.m. Tickets: 3000 HUF/person
OperaTour ticket holders can purchase an additional ticket for this exhibition at the OPERA ticket office and online using the coupon code on the tickets of the guided tours. Additional tickets: 1500 HUF/person
Groups are limited to maximum 20 visitors.
Group bookings are available on request in case of at least 10 persons paying. Time slots may differ from the regular tours. Tickets: 2000 HUF/person
