OPERAFÜRED

Gala Concert

  •

For many years now, the Hungarian State Opera has contributed to the success of one of the noblest social events in Hungary, one whose 200-year history had thus far remained unbroken: the Anna Ball held in Balatonfüred each summer. And while the current situation means that the ball has been cancelled for this year, this does not mean that the audience at the picture-perfect lakeside resort town will have to miss out on every single programme. Why? Because the Opera will once again be appearing there on Gyógy Square, which is gradually becoming synonymous with the high-quality promotion of the genre of opera in Hungary – the venue has become our Salzburg! The Opera Gala will feature the Hungarian State Opera’s outstanding singers and orchestras arias from the works being staged in the French Muse Season, which starts in the autumn.
