Several spaces within the Eiffel Hall feature permanent exhibitions. On the Podmaniczky Frigyes Terrace, visitors can explore an exhibition showcasing the historic stagecraft techniques and designers of the Opera House. Meanwhile, the connecting corridor presents a timeline of the institution’s 140-year history, along with insights into the scenic and costume design workshops. The corridor leading to the Feketeházy Terrace, which serves as a visitor centre honouring the structural engineer of the Eiffel Art Studios, displays a 120-year timeline of railway history along with various artifacts, courtesy of the Transport Museum. Throughout the vast complex, pieces from János Saxon-Szász’s 2018 series, Yellow-White Image-Objects, can be seen. Additionally, the Locomotive Hall houses sculptures from the OPERA’s set workshop, including replicas of the Opera House’s sphinx and János Hunyadi’s sarcophagus from Gyulafehérvár (today: Alba Iulia).
