"I first heard the young soprano Zsuzsanna Kapi, who portrayed Arsena from The Gypsy Baron, at the József Simándy Singing Competition in 2021, and since then she has become an accomplished singer. This time too she proved that the prize went to the right place: not only did the part sound convincing, but she also managed to shape the character of the spoiled, haughty girl with vivid clarity." — Zsolt Hollósi, szeged.hu (June 2025)
