Renáta Gebe-Fügi is a soloist of the Hungarian Opera of Kolozsvár, where she began her artistic career as a violinist in the orchestra of the institution.

She refined her artistic development through masterclasses led by distinguished mentors. During her studies, she was awarded a scholarship to the summer program of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, where she received intensive professional training and personalized mentorship.

She is the recipient of numerous prizes at international singing competitions. In 2017, she won First Prize at the 24th International Mozart Singing Competition organized by the Societatea Română Mozart; in 2020, First Prize at the Sabin V. Drăgoi International Singing Competition; and in 2021, Second Prize and the Special Prize of Andrea Rost at the 11th József Simándy International Singing Competition. In 2024, she received a Special Prize at the Mirjam Helin International Singing Competition in Finland, as well as the “Papageno” Special Prize at the Éva Marton International Singing Competition.

Her repertoire encompasses both lyric and coloratura roles, including Pamina (The Magic Flute), Adina (L’elisir d’amore), Norina (Don Pasquale), Gilda (Rigoletto), Mélisande (Pelléas et Mélisande), Rosina (The Barber of Seville), Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi), and Melinda (Bánk bán).

She is also a frequent soloist in oratorios and vocal-symphonic works on both national and international stages.

Her commitment to early music forms an essential part of her artistic identity; her interpretations are distinguished by a historically informed approach and refined stylistic sensitivity.
