Actor Csaba Jantyik attended the drama programme headed by István Horvai at the Academy of Theatre and Film Arts. After graduating, he joined Debrecen's Csokonai National Theatre, where over the course of 14 years he played several leading roles. He has played Lennie (Of Mice and Men), Claudius (Hamlet), Nero (Starmakers) and Père Ubu (Ubu Roi). He has received great acclaim in both comedies and operettas, and more recently has also taken on character roles. He has been a member of the company of the Budapest Operetta Theatre since 2001.
