Ágnes Török joined the Hungarian State Puppet Theatre as a puppeteer immediately after earning her degree in puppetry there in 1981. Since 1992, she has worked in the same capacity at the Kolibri Theatre, also teaching puppet acting in the theatre's studio from 1995 until 2013. She has taught puppet acting and puppet manipulation at the Keleti István Art School since 2000, and formerly taught puppet drama at the University of Pannonia in Veszprém. Over the past few decades, she has also worked as a designer and director, including at the Kolibri Theatre, the BuboRéka Puppet Theatre, as well as at the Kereplő Theatre, which she established together with her husband, Károly Szívós. Her productions have won several recognitions from UNIMA (Union Internationale de la Marionnette), and she was presented with the Géza Blattner Award in 1992.
