
Zsolt Harsányi
Librettist

Zsolt Harsányi was a writer, journalist, literary translator and theatre director. He studied humanities and law at the university in Kolosvár (Cluj-Napoca), where he also edited the journal[1] Theatre Week, as he also later would in Budapest. He also worked for the newspapers Budapest News, Pest News and New Times, in addition to serving as the director of the Comedy Theatre in 1938. He shares credit with Béla Paulini for jointly writing the libretto for the singspiel Háry János.
