Szilvia Vörös started her voice studies at the Pápa Music School under Ágota Eisenbeck, and then spent two years in the solo voice programme at the János Richter High School of Music in Győr as a student of Veronika Dobi-Kiss. In 2008, she enrolled at the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music, graduating from the department headed by Éva Marton with degrees in opera voice in 2013 and in voice pedagogy in 2015. She has participated in master classes held by Nicholas Clapton, Andrea Meláth, Francesco Torreggiani, Leonardo de Lisi, Alberto Gazale and Sylvia Sass. She made her debut at the Hungarian State Opera House in 2014 in the role of the first maidservant in Richard Strauss's Elektra. In addition to operatic roles, she also regularly performs in oratorical works by Bach, Mozart, Rossini, Beethoven and other composers.
