The Hungarian State Opera launches new discount student tickets for only 300 HUF. On the opening day from 5 p.m. in the frame of a special event the dierctors of the Opera House start selling the student tickets for not only March 1st but for the subsequent three days as well. All students are welcome with a valid student pass.
From March 1st on each performance day 120 discount tickets will be sold for students (this is ten percent of the full ticket package) at a discounted price of 300 HUF. The student tickets start selling two hours prior to the scheduled start time of the performance. On the opening day from 5 p.m. the directors of the Hungarian State Opera (Szilveszter Ókovács, Domonkos Héja, Tamás Solymosi and István Mozsár) await students intending to purchase discount tickets for the following performances:
March 1st - W. A. Mozart: Così fan tutte
March 2nd - G. Puccini: Tosca
March 3rd - R. Wagner:
