How Can One Sing on the Violin?
At this concert, we would like to offer an insight into the wonderful world of the violin and the richness of expression this instrument is capable of. Much like the human voice, the violin can convey a wide range of artistic and musical nuances. Most of the programme will consist of original works for violin and piano, complemented by transcriptions of songs and a famous aria.
The concert will also feature the debut of a violin–cello duo, presenting especially exciting and lyrical tonal colours. The programme includes works of varied character and mood.
Today's performers will be Anita Bujtás violinist as a guest artist, Balázs Kálvin pianist and répétiteur at the Hungarian State Opera, and dr. László Pólus cellist, soloist at Bartók Radio, principal cellist of the Hungarian State Opera Orchestra.
