Sándor Tóth started his drama studies in the studio of the National Theatre, and in 1992 graduated from the College of Theatre and Film Arts Budapest as a student of Péter Huszti. Since 1992 he has been a member of the National Theatre, which was renamed the Hungarian Theatre of Pest in 2000. He has performed as a guest at the Gyula Castle Theatre, the Szeged Open-Air Festival, the Esztergom Castle Theatre, the Budapest Chamber Theatre, Kecskemét's Katona József Theatre, Nyíregyháza's Móricz Zsigmond Theatre and the National Theatre of Győr. He received the Farkas-Ratkó Award in 1998, followed by the Agárdy Commemorative Chain in 2013.
